CONVERT REPULSION MOTOR TO ARDUINO BASED SINGLE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR

Introduction
This Project we try to a Single phase induction motor convert to a REPULSION MOTOR using Arduino UNO and single pole double throw relay.
Single Phase Induction Motor
When supply current is sent into the main winding, alternating flux is formed which is not rotated alon when induced.
If AC supply is sent in an auxiliary or running winding, alternating flux will also be created there but it will work in the opposite direction of main welding.
Since the magnitude of their flux is equal, so the net torque is equal, so the winding cannot make any rotation torque.
Two type of MMF generated in Single phase induction motor BACKWARD MMF and FORWARD MMF.
This is an overview of Double Revolving Field Theory.The main reason for not making the rotation of the winding is the flux of two MMF equal magnitude.
The magnitude of flux depends on the inductance of the winding.If the inductance of any winding is less then its magnetic flux magnitude will be less MMF and torque will be less. And the motor will make rotation in the specified direction.
We know that the rotating magnetic field is created for the rotation like three phase induction motor and that rotating magnetic field creates the three phase power supply which creates 120° phase displacement which causes the motor to rotate.But single phase induction motor does not have that advantage.
There is only one phase so it has to make phase displacement which provides a capacitor which is rated at 2-2.25 mF.The capacitor creates a 90 ° phase displacement between the two windings.The arangment and code described following below.
REPULSION MOTOR
Repulsion motor is a series ac motor where the motor brushes are short circuited by a low resistance wire. When supply apply to stator the stator make North pole and South pole and MMF .
This MMF cuts the rotor part due to faraday electromagnetic induction rotor will magnetize and generated EMF makes MMF and poles which is oposite of stator pole it means repulsion torque will generate and other hand stator poles are not constant due AC supply use .
when the poles change to other cycle the attraction torque generate. So this principle Repulsion motor works.
Single Phase Induction Reverse Rotation
Let's check single phase induction motor rotate reverse direction.Looking at the figure, we can see that if we can send the power supply to Terminal A and Terminal B in reverse direction, then the direction of the net magnetic field will change.
As a result, the MMF of the magnetic field will rotate and the motor will reverse rotation.
But it is difficult to send forward and reverse direction supply again and again so an SINGLE POLE DOUBLE THROUGH RELAY will help here which will enable the power supply to send power supply in forward and reverse direction as required and the rotation of the motor can be changed by relay as required and Arduino Microprocessor control the relay.
Arangment
In This project we use SPDT Relay operate 12 v dc supply and have a common pin , NO and NC pin.The Arduino 7 Digital Input pin engaged with this common pin and two capacitor terminal are connected in NO NC pin .
The algorithm always states HIGH the forward rotation happens after some delay it will set it what delay you want this advance not afford in repulsion motor and when LOW then Reverse Rotation . If you calculate 1 Revolution time the easily set the delay timing .
In this project prevent from Repulsion motor loss.
Conclusion
In this Project we try to save the loss of power during rotation of repulsion motor. And this project change the conventional Electrical equipment trends.
