How different power factor angle and input primary current effects on leakage reactance of the AC Machine?
What is leakage flux?
Basically AC Machine leakage flux is some amount of primary flux would the amount of input given to the primary due to this leakage flux in the magnetic circuit is not found in the whole secondary. Not linked with secondary. So this wastage flax is called leakage flux.
If we imagine an electrical circuit where the reactance, drops some amount of current, In the same way in magnetic circuit the amount of flux that is formed in the total number of primary cannot be induced in the flux secondary.

What is leakage reactance ?
In AC Machine some amount of drop or loss of flux in magnetic circuit . So this wastage called leakage reactance.
